My New Maps of European Countries Charm Bracelet

February 06, 2010 | fitzcharming | Comments 4

Vintage European Flag BraceletI just bought this bracelet on ebay and was going to disassemble it to sell but now I can't decide if I want to sell it or keep it.  It's got ten enamel sterling silver European country maps including their flags in pastel colors.  I'm a sucker for enamel charms.  And about the same time I also got a different style Belgium map so I put that in the photo too, although I know I'll sell that one.

The charms are in great condition and there isn't a maker's mark so I don't know how old the bracelet is.  They are marked sterling 925 though.  I wonder if the original owner bought it ready made or collected the charms while traveling.  The jump rings are soldered and all alike so I'm guessing it was already assembled like this when purchased.   How do I ever decide whether to keep or sell?  That's one of the dilemmas one encounters when running a vintage charm sales business.

Wanda, I saw this bracelet and was afraid if I won it, I’d not want to break it apart either! I vote with Nicki — KEEP IT!! You can always sell it later if you decide you don’t want it anymore.
