Snapeez® Magic Charm Bracelet Jump Rings – Are They Secure?
I get this question all the time from my ebay customers. And I always respond with the same truthful answer.

February Birthstones – Amethyst
February’s birthstone, the amethyst, is a form of quartz, which varies in color from pale lilac to dark purple. It is found in Canada, The U.S., Australia, India, Russia, and Sri Lanka as natural crystals within rocks. Amethyst has been a foundation of royal jewels throughout the ages, as intense violet is a associated with […]
My New Maps of European Countries Charm Bracelet
I just bought this bracelet on ebay and was going to disassemble it to sell but now I can’t decide if I want to sell it or keep it. It’s got ten enamel sterling silver European country maps including their flags in pastel colors. I’m a sucker for enamel charms.

January Birthstones – Garnet
Anyone born in January knows their birthstone is a warm deep red garnet. My first thoughts are of Bohemian garnets found in antique jewelry from the late 19th century. What most don’t realize is that garnets are found in almost all colors except blue.
Collections A La Fitzcharming
This is another look at the things I collect, other than charms of course. Last time I showed you my Artesania Rinconada dogs and birds, my blue soapstone eggs, and my glass pumpkins. Of course that wasn’t all. You know those of us with the collector gene don’t stop at just a few collections, so this will be a continuing series until I get to the end, which may take a while.

Elco Enamel Travel Shield Charms
I’ve seen these vintage shield charms for years and always wondered what company manufactured them. They are little souvenir colored shields in a sterling silver frame. The mark on the back reads sterling and has a Trojan Soldier looking guy with a spear and armor shield with an E in the center.
My Collections Through the Years
I’ve been a collector as long as I can remember. Since I was young I’ve been fascinated by gathering together groups of things. Mostly small things. I’ve always found it great fun to find things from different sources that are similar and arrange them in little groups. Through the years my interests evolved and I’ve started collecting all kinds of little things.
Vintage Chim And Nuvo Crystal British Charms
I’ve been enchanted with a bracelet filled with vintage golden crystal Nuvo and Chim charms for a while now. It’s a bit more than I can afford to spend but occasionally I look at it and dream. I understand completely the reason for the price. The seller has invested a lot of time and effort and money into collecting and assembling this vintage charm treasure.

November Birthstones – Topaz
There are three traditional birthstones representing the month of November, smoky quartz, citrine, and orange topaz. I have a November birthday and When I was growing up the topaz was considered the November birthstone and it’s still my favorite.
Vintage Thomas L Mott TLM Charms and Jewelry
A while back I posted some photos of my TLM charm collection. Since that time I’ve acquired a few more so I’m updating the pictures. These are all TLM, mostly enamels, and the bracelet that the British Isle charms are on is also marked TLM. In my quest I’ve found that that the Thomas L Mott company is also known for other jewelry pieces.

Cincinnati Charm Convention – The Last Day
Sunday was the final official day of the charm gathering. We got up early in the morning and several of us went to an antique / flea market in Indiana. The rest stayed at the hotel and did more charm sharing. I was one of the antique market folks. Sandy accompanied us on our fun field trip. I haven’t been able to find the quality of antique markets in Central Florida that there are in the Midwest so I was anxious to check it out.
Cincinnati Charm Convention – Day Two – Part Two
So after a day of complete charm overload on Saturday, we continued to celebrate into the night. Sandy and Pam’s “personal jewelers” threw us a private cocktail party at Krombholz jewelry store. Representatives from Hug Jewelers were also there and they both had a huge spread of new and vintage charms and bracelets for us to purchase.
Cincinnati Charm Convention – Day Two – Part One
Day two of Convention was so fun filled that it deserves two separate posts. So continuing with the details of my glorious weekend with my fellow charmers, beginning with a Saturday morning brunch at Lisa C’s house and then a charm marathon at the hotel………
