Vintage State Heritage Promotional Charm Bracelets
Previously I’ve written about promotional vintage Heritage Charm bracelets and at the time I just had a couple of them. Readers can click my link to view the first article and look at the Indiana and Michigan examples. Since then I’ve acquired more so I thought I would feature them once again. I’ve included photographs of the Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Illinois bracelets that I've added to my collection.
Actually the Massachusetts and New Hampshire bracelets don't have the distinctive Heritage Bell hallmark so they may be from another maker. They look very similar though. The Illinois bracelet is the best. It has the original box and paper insert, and doesn't appear to ever have been removed from the package. You can get a better view of the photos by double clicking them.
As I wrote in my first article these complete bracelets were given away as tokens of appreciation for opening bank accounts in certain states. Both sides of the charms are detailed with features of the state represented. And each bracelet also has a stone or vial of sand representing the state. I love finding these complete bracelets and collecting part of marketing history.
