Kate Middletons Royal Charm Bracelet
Kate Middleton watchers have been oogling a new sparkly trinket she’s been sporting on her right wrist recently. It’s a gold charm bracelet given to Kate by her new step-mother-in-law Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. Rumors say it was a wedding gift, and it seems to represent a growing bond between the two Duchesses. Camilla is Kate’s mentor and is tasked with making her adjustment to royal life as seamless as possible.
The bracelet is a large single link with one round charm, and looks a little like a Tiffany bracelet. Kates, however, bears her new royal cipher emblem, the letter C with a curl for Catherine topped with a coronet. And the back side is engraved with Camilla’s royal cipher, a C with no curl beneath the coronet.
The new Duchess of Cambridge has worn the bracelet to several official events, including a medal ceremony for Irish Guards on Armed Forces Day, and also when she attended the Wimbledon tennis tournament.
The newly married couple had requested no gifts at their wedding, suggesting donations to their favorite charities instead. The event raised about $1.6 million. Of course their closest friends and family gave gifts to the couple in addition to the charitable donations, and this is one of the first examples seen by the public.

I wonder if she will be adding more charms to her bracelet. It would be nice if she did!

I’m sure we will read about it if she does, her every move is on the front page. No wonder she’s royal and pretty too.
