A couple of weeks ago I attended the very first national meeting of the "Joan's Vintage Charm and Charm Bracelets" group.  We met in Cincinnati and so our first event was called the Cincinnati Charm Convention.  There were 14 of us in attendance from all over the U.S. and it was the most fun I've had in a very long time.  Special thanks to our three Cincinnati based hostesses, Sandy Weinstein  (of Yogiw's A Genuine Find on ebay - she has the most beautiful charms for sale), Pam Burton (Pammy Loves Charms), and Lisa Cope (of the wonderful ebay store Bought the Charm) for making it a perfectly special weekend.   Sandy made our great logo - she's a graphic designer.  Friday night we met at Pob's Pub owned by Pam and her sweet husband Bob for a meet and greet.  Pam served delicious food and beverages for all to enjoy.  We  all wore one bracelet as a conversation starter.  My favorite was Sandy's "This is Your Life" bracelet, which was an award from the famous "This is Your Life" show created and hosted by Ralph Edwards in the 1950's.  The recipient of this particular bracelet was a public defender that was honored for his charity work.  It's an amazing piece designed and crafted by Walter Lampl.  There were only around 350 episodes of the show so it's very rare.   Friday night's fun was just the beginning of our amazing weekend so read the rest of the story here.
