Judith Jack Marcasite Jewelry And Charm Bracelets
My first piece of Judith Jack jewelry was a little Santa Claus pin that I found in a clearance bin at Bloomingdales after Christmas sale. He had lots of marcasite and the prettiest jewel tone red jacket and I fell in love with it right away. I’ve worn him for years in the days leading up to Christmas and he is still my favorite pin. Then when I began collecting charm bracelets I started seeing Judith Jack charms from time to time. They have the same pretty marcasite designs and vintage looking style as my pin but they were even better because they were, of course, charms. I’ve started a gardening theme bracelet made with all Judith Jack charms and I love to find pre-owned charms online because they are usually less expensive.
Judith Jack jewelry is named for Judith and Jack Rosenberg, who over 30 years ago were dealers in estate and antique jewelry. They found that the demand for older vintage style pieces created from marcasite outgrew their supply so they began creating replicas and eventually designed their own jewelry line. Their jewelry is made of sterling silver and marcasite, and many of the jewelry pieces include matched hand knotted Japanese pearls, and semi precious stones.
Judith Jack charms are hand crafted with attention to every detail, then hand polished to a beautiful finish, replicating the desired patina associated with vintage jewelry. They all have the signature JJ hallmark to signify authenticity. The marcasite stones are round shaped and pavé set between sterling silver beads to enhance their brightness. Most of their charms have a layer of hard kiln fired enamel added for colorful playful fun. The Judith Jack line of charm bracelets is a high end fashion jewelry accessory that can be dressed up or down beautifully, and compliment the style of a modern woman with a vintage style charm.
